One of my sisters went to a Waldorf school in Germany and that is how I was first introduced to Waldorf dolls and toys.
These beautiful dolls , with their simple faces give children the ability to use all their imagination and creativity and to develop a sence of self and nurturing .
Each doll has simple eyes and a small, straight mouth that leaves lots of room for the child's imagination . The child can imagine if the doll is laughing, crying or sleeping for example.
Waldorf inspired dolls ,like mine, are made by hand and with lots of love ! Every doll is close to my heart, but I'm also happy to see them go to a new home with a child that will love them.
Each doll is unique and has their own personality !
I make two types of dolls:
Dolls made from natural materials
The skin fabric is 100% cotton jersey knit, the stuffing is 100% sheepwool batting, and the hair would be made from a natural wool ( Mohair, Alpaca,Cotton ,Sheep). These dolls can be washed by hand and slowly dried in a warm place. I can give you more info on that if needed.
Dolls made with non natural materials
The skin fabric would be 100% cotton jersey knit as well . It would have Polyester batting for stuffing and Acrylic wool for hair.
This type of doll can be machine-washed and tumble dried in the dryer.

All my doll cloth are handmade (unless stated otherwise)and have Velcro closures .
NO Buttons!
